Excursion to the 3 islands: Murano - Burano - Torcello
Head to the Punta Sabbioni pier to meet your guide and the group for the day. Board the boat and bid farewell to the shore as you venture into the evocative Venetian Lagoon.
Enjoy the scenic tour and, after a brief technical stop in Venice, disembark on the island of Murano where you will watch a live demonstration of the famous glassmaking inside a workshop. You will have approximately one hour on the island to take photos, browse the shops, and purchase authentic Murano glass souvenirs.
Continue to Burano, characterized by a lively atmosphere and picturesque colorful houses. Take advantage of the free time to stroll through the streets, have a coffee, or enjoy a snack in one of the many restaurants and cafés on the island. If you wish, with our ticket you will be able to enter the Lace Museum free of charge (to be requested from the guide).
Relax during the navigation and enjoy the panoramic views of the lagoon before arriving at Torcello. Here you can explore the historic island and admire the Veneto-Byzantine mosaics inside the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta (entrance ticket not included).
During the navigation: observe the MOSE, the mobile dam system designed to protect Venice from high tides. Admire the typical flora and fauna of the lagoon and watch in the distance the planes taking off from Marco Polo Airport.
In Murano: visit the Basilica of Santi Maria e Donato and the Church of San Pietro Martire, two historical testimonies of the island (entrance tickets not included).
In Burano: stroll to Piazza Galuppi with its famous leaning bell tower, discover the ancient art of lace-making by browsing the island's shops, take a selfie in front of Casa di Bepi — the most colorful house on the island — and taste the traditional risotto with goby fish (ghiozzo, a typical fish of the Venetian lagoon).
In Torcello: walk along the evocative Devil’s Bridge, one of the last bridges without railings remaining in the lagoon, or capture the moment with a selfie sitting on Attila’s Throne.
