Full-day excursion to Burano with a stop in Murano along the way.
Departing from San Marco, the tour with our onboard guide will take you to discover Burano, the charming island famous for its colorful houses and unique atmosphere. Along the way, there will be a stop in Murano to watch a glassmaking demonstration (approximately one hour on the island).
After just 30 minutes of sailing, you will reach Burano, where you will have about 3 hours of free time to stroll through the picturesque streets, explore local shops, and enjoy lunch independently at the island’s restaurants and cafés. If you wish, with our ticket you can enter the Lace Museum free of charge (ask the guide).
The return to San Marco, scheduled around 5:30 PM, will conclude an unforgettable day among art, culture, and the colors of the Venetian Lagoon.
During the navigation: admire the typical flora and fauna of the lagoon and watch in the distance the planes taking off from Marco Polo Airport.
In Murano: visit the Basilica of Santi Maria e Donato and the Church of San Pietro Martire, two historical testimonies of the island (entrance tickets not included).
In Burano: stroll to Piazza Galuppi with its famous leaning bell tower, discover the ancient art of lace-making by browsing the island's shops, take a selfie in front of Casa di Bepi — the most colorful house on the island — and taste the traditional risotto with goby fish (ghiozzo, a typical fish of the Venetian lagoon).
