Boat tour to the 3 islands from Venice: Murano - Burano - Torcello with on-board guide
Set sail from Venice for a full-day tour to discover the wonderful islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello.
Depending on the chosen option, departure can be from San Marco - Cornoldi Pier or from the Venice train station, near KFC.
Our first stop is Murano: here, you will discover why this island is world-famous for glassmaking, visit a local furnace, and watch a master glassblower at work during a live demonstration.
Overall, you will have about one hour of free time on the island to browse the shops and buy items in the many artistic glass stores.
Next, you will head to Burano, famous for its ancient lace-making tradition and its colorful houses: here you will have about two hours of free time to choose a nice place for lunch, taste typical Venetian aperitifs, or enjoy an ice cream in one of the island’s many cafés. If you wish, with our ticket you can enter the lace museum for free (ask the guide).
From Burano, you will finally move to Torcello, the oldest lagoon settlement: here you will have about one hour to explore the island independently, with the possibility to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and admire its famous Veneto-Byzantine mosaics (entry ticket not included).
Return to San Marco & Train Station is scheduled for the late afternoon.
During the navigation: admire the typical flora and fauna of the lagoon and watch in the distance the planes taking off from Marco Polo Airport.
In Murano: visit the Basilica of Santi Maria e Donato and the Church of San Pietro Martire, two historical testimonies of the island (entrance tickets not included).
In Burano: stroll to Piazza Galuppi with its famous leaning bell tower, discover the ancient art of lace-making by browsing the island's shops, take a selfie in front of Casa di Bepi — the most colorful house on the island — and taste the traditional risotto with goby fish (ghiozzo, a typical fish of the Venetian lagoon).
In Torcello: walk along the evocative Devil’s Bridge, one of the last bridges without railings remaining in the lagoon, or capture the moment with a selfie sitting on the famous Attila’s Throne.
