Boat tour to the two islands of Murano and Burano + Venice in 1 day!
The tour departs from Punta Sabbioni and takes you to discover two authentic jewels of local craftsmanship.
Enjoy a mini cruise to San Marco, where you will briefly stop to pick up other passengers. Then, sail to Murano, world-famous for its ancient glass-making techniques. Here, you will visit one of the island's renowned glass factories and witness a live demonstration, admiring the skill of the artisans creating glass artworks. After this fascinating experience, you will have free time to stroll around the island, immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere, and explore the artistic glass shops. (total time on the island: about 1h)
With our guide, the journey continues to Burano, a picturesque island famous for its lace and colorful houses. Explore the narrow streets and admire the vibrant buildings. You will have about 1 hour to enjoy the island's authentic charm. If you wish, with our ticket you can enter the lace museum for free (ask the guide).
The tour ends at San Marco - Pontile Cornoldi around 15:30, where you can enjoy free time in the heart of Venice, admiring the famous square and historic monuments. Shuttles back to Punta Sabbioni depart from the arrival point at 16:45 or 18:00, giving you the flexibility to choose the most convenient time for you.
During the navigation: observe the MOSE, the mobile dam system designed to protect Venice from high tides. Admire the typical flora and fauna of the lagoon and watch in the distance the planes taking off from Marco Polo Airport.
In Murano: visit the Basilica of Santi Maria e Donato and the Church of San Pietro Martire, two historical testimonies of the island (entrance tickets not included).
In Burano: stroll to Piazza Galuppi with its famous leaning bell tower, discover the ancient art of lace-making by browsing the island's shops, take a selfie in front of Casa di Bepi — the most colorful house on the island — and taste the traditional biscuit: Bussolà.
In Venice: explore Piazza San Marco and climb the majestic Campanile to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from 60 meters high. Visit the Basilica of San Marco and the Doge’s Palace (entrance tickets not included).
